Job Title: Bartender
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at our vibrant cocktail bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong knowledge of cocktails, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and visually appealing drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
2. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
3. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, glassware, and ingredients.
4. Ensure that all drinks are prepared with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, adhering to quality standards.
5. Collaborate with the bar manager and other team members to develop new and innovative drink recipes and seasonal specials.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices and proper handling of hazardous materials.
7. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
8. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
9. Continuously educate yourself on current industry trends, new ingredients, and mixology techniques to enhance your skills and knowledge.
10. Assist in maintaining inventory levels, including monitoring stock, placing orders, and conducting regular stock checks.
11. Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and fulfilling customer needs, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including assisting with bar setup and breakdown, as needed.
13. Contribute to a positive and energetic work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among colleagues.
14. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in mixology and customer service.
15. Uphold the bar's brand image and reputation by consistently delivering high-quality drinks and exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Bartender in a cocktail bar or similar high-volume establishment.
2. In-depth knowledge of cocktails, mixology techniques, and drink recipes.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
7. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
9. Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a willingness to learn and grow.
