The Event and Student Engagement Intern will support the planning, promotion, and execution of campus events and student engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic student who is passionate about building community and enhancing the student experience.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of campus events, including logistics of planning, including decor, menu (in collaboration with dining team), promotion, setup, and breakdown.
• Promote events through digital and print marketing, including social media, flyers, and email campaigns.
• Engage with students to gather feedback and encourage participation in campus activities.
• Support student organizations with event planning and promotional efforts.
• Maintain event calendars and track attendance and engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with campus departments and external vendors as needed.
• Capture photos and videos during events for promotional use.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution and positive experiences.

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
