Position Highlights:

Student Loan Repayment: This position is eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

Provide care and management of patients with anxiety, depression, mental illness, and detoxification from alcohol and drugs on the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
Work closely with care team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, counselors and techs.
Coordinate care in collaboration with patients, family, physicians and other nursing staff.
Identify patient and family learning needs and develop an educational plan.
Demonstrate effective verbal, oral and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate of Registered Nursing Education program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

South Dakota RN License and/or meeting licensure criteria
BLS (Basic Life Support)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Hours:
- 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am; 48hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$29.50 - $44.25
