Summary

This position directs and oversees poultry farm associates and assists management in daily farm operations. Requires working with live poultry in a Farm setting. Farms are located in Butler and Mauk, Georgia.

Shift

• Generally 7:00am-5:00pm

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees catching and placemement of birds.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Directs and oversees farm assocites

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous Lead, production or farm experience required.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• This position requires 2 to 4 hours with 4 to 6 repetitions per minute in a single interval.
• Variable temperature exposure. Ambient dampness exposure.
• Walking or standing on all types of surfaces.
• Chemical exposure to carbon fuel fumes and <5 PPM of Ammonia vapors.
• Cotton gloves required to be worn as personal protection equipment and device.
• <1 hour of walking with 1 to 3 repetitions per minute at a maximum distance of >100 ft distance on all types of walking surfaces.
• 2 to 4 hours of standing with variable mobility.
• This position requires 2 to 4 hours of constant sitting and bending w ith 4 to 6 repetitions per minute at a maximum forward angle position and <2 degrees maximum backward angle & max side angle of 10-20 degrees.
• This position requires <1 hour of twisting with 1 to 3 repetitions per minute.
• The maximum weight lifted is 40 to 60 lb maximum weight lifted.
• Floor level height of starting position, Final position of height of lift is 0 to 6 inch.
• Up to 3 to 6 inches extension reach during lift/ Variable body position.
