Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible day shift hours
Hours: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
No weekends, holidays, or on-call
Compensation:
Travel: $2,500/week gross
Assist pathologists with gross dissection and selection of surgical specimens for microscopic and specialized studies
Prepare frozen section tissue for intraoperative consultation
Procure fresh specimens for biorepository, cytogenetics, flow cytometry, and research storage
Operate the Faxitron to obtain digital images and upload to PACS
Maintain and clean all lab equipment and work areas
Contribute to pathology education through prep of teaching materials
Perform required LIS/computer documentation for timely case reporting
Support autopsy examinations as directed (e.g., photography, external/internal exam, data collection)
Stand for extended periods (minimum 5 hours/day) and lift up to 30 lbs
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and annual competencies
Complete other tasks or projects as assigned
