Summary

Pumpkin Patch is looking for a reliable Van driver for our center. You will be responsible for driving a small group of children to Middletown Public Schools in the mornings and afternoon. The van is a standard 3 row van. This means you do not need a special license to be able to drive for the center.

This is a split shift position. You will be responsible for taking a group of children to school and then picking them up when school is out. We currently bus to one school, but may add more in the future. The position now is from around 7:50 a.m.-9 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.-4 p.m. If we add more schools your times may change slightly.

This position is offered during the school year only with the summer off. You may be asked to occasionally help bus children to field trips in the summertime if your schedule allows it. You will also be responsible for filling the van with gas and keeping the interior clean.

Duties

Driving a small group of children to school and picking them up when school is out. Multiple trips to different schools as needed.
Van maintenance such as getting gas, keeping the van cleaning and taking it for car washes when needed.

Smoking of any kind prohibited in the van.

Requirements

Must hold a valid license for at least 1 year.
Able to pass a drug and background test.
Clean driving record.
Must be 21 years of age.

Pay is determined by experience.
