The Recycling Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of recycling programs and initiatives within the Public Improvement Authority. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring recycling efforts to ensure sustainability, reduce waste, and promote environmental responsibility. The Recycling Coordinator works closely with various Pueblo departments, local government agencies, and community groups to foster a culture of recycling and sustainability.
Overseeing and managing all aspects of recycling programs and initiatives within the Public Improvement Authority.
Help in the day-to-day operations of recycling and maintenance.
Plan, implement, and monitor recycling efforts to ensure sustainability, reduce waste, and promote environmental responsibility
Use of a variety of hand tools (i.e., shovels, rakes, sledge hammers, power drills, power saws, grease gun, air tools, water pumps, jumping jack and flat plate tampers, etc.).
Responsible for performing laborer work by following instructions of the foreman and any other individuals identified by the foreman for projects undertaken by the Public Improvement Authority.
Any and all other duties assigned.

No previous experience required. Must be able to attain a level 1 wastewater certification within one (1) year. Must be able to take direction and be familiar with a variety of hand tools. Will help in completing wastewater treatment plan and wastewater utility construction projects. Will be responsible for learning all safety requirements of the department and be required to attend training as needed.
