Job Title: Electric Motor / Pump Mechanic
Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $30-$38 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Electric Motor/Pump Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As an Electric Motor/Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling various types of rotating equipment. This includes pumps, centrifugal, submersible, vertical, turbine, gear reducers, electric motors, and blowers. You will work closely with the Senior Mechanic/Manager to ensure all repairs and field service work are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble various types of rotating equipment, including pumps, centrifugal, submersible, vertical, turbine, gear reducers, electric motors, and blowers
- Complete all assigned repairs and field service work as directed by the Senior Mechanic/Manager
- Adhere to productivity and quality standards while performing all responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, prioritizing safety for yourself and your co-workers
- Utilize knowledge of rotating equipment, micrometers, and basic electrical skills to complete tasks Understand tolerance for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections, and testing procedures
- Operate lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes
- Document diagnostic findings clearly and accurately
- Recall assembly procedures from disassembly and inspection with the aid of documentation
- Explain root cause failures to company management and clients, and discuss recommended courses of action
Qualifications:
- Three years of manual machining or engine lathe experience preferred
- Experience with laser alignment and vibration analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of rotating equipment and basic electrical skills
- Ability to operate lifting equipment, such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes. Proficiency in reading electrical connection diagrams
- Significant hand and arm dexterity required for handling shop hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds from a bending position and stand at a workbench for 8+ hours a day
Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds. Significant hand and arm dexterity required. Ability to stand at a workbench on a concrete floor for extended periods.
