About the Role:
As a Licensed Psychologist, you'll play a vital role in the disability evaluation process for veterans. You'll conduct thorough mental health assessments, meticulously documenting your findings through a web-based system. Your expertise will provide crucial information to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, enabling them to make informed disability determinations. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and contract opportunities, with a mix of in-person and potential telehealth work. The position is based in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
What You'll Do:
Review medical history and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension Disability Assessments for Veterans.
Complete exams electronically through a web-based form, which is then sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Conduct assessments for a range of mental health conditions.
Work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
What You'll Bring:
A PhD or PsyD in Psychology.
Graduation from an APA-accredited Doctoral Program.
Licensure in at least one state.
