We are looking for a Legal Coordinator to join our Legal & Business Affairs team.

In this role, you will provide essential legal and administrative support across a variety of functions, including contract administration, intellectual property protection, compliance processes, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to help ensure legal operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Coordination & Administration

  • Provide day-to-day legal administrative support: document preparation, scheduling, calendaring, note-taking, meeting follow-ups, and project coordination.

  • Maintain internal records and databases, including contract repositories, legal matters, corporate budgets, insurance policies, intellectual property portfolios, and company books.

  • Monitor legal inboxes and physical mail for time-sensitive notices and communications.

  • Track intake and distribution of legal tasks, ensuring timely responses and follow-through.

  • Manage document transmittals using electronic and physical delivery methods (FedEx, UPS, mail, courier, phone, fax).

  • Assist in the drafting and preliminary review of vendor and license agreements, flagging key issues for legal counsel.

Intellectual Property Support

  • Prepare and submit copyright applications as directed by in-house counsel.

  • Conduct research on unauthorized use of company trademarks and brands; compile findings into actionable reports.

  • Draft and issue DMCA takedown notices and other enforcement requests under legal supervision.

  • Assist in collecting documents and conducting online research for copyright and trademark clearance.

Publishing & Compliance

  • Support compliance and clearance reviews of marketing, publishing, and narrative materials.

  • Assist in investigating customer disputes and contribute to resolution processes.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between the legal team and internal departments across the organization.

  • Support special projects and legal initiatives as assigned.

  • Assist in communications with regulatory bodies and external authorities.

  • Help draft internal communications, including companywide announcements, email updates, and presentations.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a legal or corporate administrative support role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Familiarity with contracts, intellectual property, and corporate compliance topics.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and standard legal systems (e.g., contract databases, DocuSign).

  • Experience in the entertainment, gaming, or tech industries is a strong plus.
