Description Robert Half, a global leader in specialized talent solutions, is seeking a motivated and talented Litigation Legal Secretary for a contract-to-hire opportunity to join a reputable trial firm located in Century City. This hybrid position offers an exceptional chance to work with a dynamic team of trial attorneys while enjoying the flexibility of working both remotely and in-office. Key Responsibilities: + Provide comprehensive administrative support to litigation attorneys, including trial preparation and case management. + Prepare, format, and proofread a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence. + Draft and file documents using eFiling platforms for state and federal courts (litigation experience is crucial). + Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings. + Handle client communications and ensure a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. + Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files for efficient access and compliance with firm requirements. + Assist with trial preparation, including preparing and organizing exhibits, witnesses, and trial binders. + Collaborate with paralegals and other team members to support litigation needs. Requirements Qualifications: + 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a legal secretary in a litigation environment, ideally with exposure to trial work. + Proficiency in legal document preparation, calendaring, and state/federal court eFiling is required. + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal case management software. + Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with precision and efficiency. + Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. + A high school diploma is required; additional certifications in legal studies or paralegal programs are a plus.
