The Food and Beverage Technician provides essential support for Tyson University training events, customer meetings, and foodservice demonstrations. This individual will assist with food preparation, event setup, logistics, kitchen organization, and customer service while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Assist in planning, preparing, setting up, and executing training events and product presentations
Prepare and present food products (wash, peel, cut, season, cook as needed)
Ensure proper table setups, chafing dish maintenance, and event cleanliness
Maintain and organize training areas, kitchens, and storage spaces
Label and store food samples appropriately (dry, cold, frozen)
Pull and transport equipment, ingredients, and printed materials for events
Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies and equipment after each session
Engage with guests, answer food-related questions, and address concerns
Manage inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment
Create shopping lists and purchase necessary groceries or supplies
Handle shipping for product samples, field training kits, and printed materials
Track product and supply inventory in Excel or internal systems
Provide general support for training and foodservice teams, chefs, and managers
Experience in food preparation and handling
Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to lift 25–30 lbs regularly
Comfortable in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
