Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Writer to join our busy, customer-focused repair shop. The right candidate will have a proven track record in service writing, the ability to build accurate estimates, and the highest level of integrity when communicating with customers and supporting our technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and accurately write repair orders.
• Create detailed and accurate repair estimates.
• Clearly explain services, estimates, and repair timelines.
• Communicate effectively between customers and technicians.
• Secure customer approval for repairs and keep them updated.
• Provide an honest, transparent, and positive customer experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as an Automotive Service Writer/Advisor.
• Strong automotive knowledge and ability to explain repairs.
• Proven ability to write and present estimates.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High integrity, honesty, and professionalism are a must.
• Experience with shop management software (preferred).
