Pay Range : $17- $19

Job Summary

Summary: As a Dishwasher with Levy at UW - Madison, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail ensures that all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas are spotless, following the highest standards of sanitation and safety. If you’re a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, essential role, we want you to join our kitchen team! 

Key Responsibilites:

• Scrape, rinse and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Remove trash and waste, placing it in designated containers. Wash garbage cans to maintain a hygenic kitchen space.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring they are kept clean and safe.
• Maintain dishwashing area, ensuring all equipments is functioning properly, and report any issues to the supervisor. 
• Assist with other tasks as assigned to ensure overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to be on your feet for long hours and move 20-40 lbs.
• A strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team oriented work environment.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
