Key Responsibilities:

• Assist leadman/foreman in the fabrication shop.
• Drive shop trucks with a 10,000 lbs trailer.
• Complete/conduct Task Hazard Analysis (THA) that adequately identifies and addresses all safety hazards associated with a task.  
• Perform work independently with minimum supervision. 
• Read and interpret blueprints.  
• Assist with lay-out of pile driving/welding operations.
• Perform cutting torch and welding activities (combo/structural—3G, 4G, etc.) 
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain driving equipment.
• Complete pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and side loader.
• Proven commitment to Safety.
• Work in an organized manner.
• Able to work night shifts when needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions. 
• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others. 
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. 
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds. 
• Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces. 
• Minimum age 18+ 
• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.

 Desired:

• Proficient welding and cutting operations.
• Must be comfortable working in outside climate.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with general labor and operating equipment.
• Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, cutting torch, grinders, etc.)
