About this role:

In this role, you will:

• Participate in performing financial research, underwriting and structuring of Food and Agribusiness relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area
• Review and research business financial statements, tax returns and related financial information requiring an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
• Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to thoroughly analyze credits on an independent basis and communicate findings in a concise manner
• Knowledge and understanding of production agriculture or agribusinesses
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with financial modeling / forecasting
• Underwriting experience including advanced commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio credit
• Knowledge and understanding of cash flow lending
• Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data

Job Expectations:

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• This position does not support Visa Sponsorship
• Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
• Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
