Description We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various administrative functions. This is a contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and long-term stability. Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and on time. - Reconcile bank statements to ensure all discrepancies are addressed and resolved. - Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. - Assist in HR administration tasks, supporting employee records and documentation. - Utilize QuickBooks software to track financial data and generate reports. - Prepare and submit financial reports as required by management. - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and streamline operations. - Monitor and maintain compliance with organizational policies and external regulations. - Provide support during audits and other financial reviews. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting tools. - Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. - Familiarity with payroll processing and HR administrative functions. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
