A leading Arkansas law firm is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to join its dynamic team. This role is responsible for compiling, managing, and finalizing attorney billing, as well as assisting with a variety of accounting and bookkeeping functions in accordance with established firm policies and procedures.
Compile and process attorney hours for monthly client billing.
Review, edit, and finalize pre-bills in response to attorney and staff requests.
Apply retainers and process write-offs in accordance with firm policy.
Prepare and submit complex billing (multiple discounts, split-party billing, electronic billing).
Manage a high volume of monthly bills accurately and on schedule.
Verify billing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Research and resolve billing inquiries.
Develop and update billing formats, schedules, and analytical reports.
Generate and distribute monthly billing and financial reports.
Utilize accounting and payables software to perform daily functions.
Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm financial information.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
