BAR MANAGER

F1 Arcade® is the world's first official Formula 1® social entertainment venue, where high-octane excitement meets exceptional hospitality! Each meticulously designed venue features up to 90 state of the art full motion F1 racing simulators, a world-class food menu and open kitchen, an enormous cocktail and champagne bar, along with private and semi-private event spaces, perfect for all group sizes. Role Overview

We're searching for an energetic and innovative Bar Manager to lead our Philadelphia location. As the first bar leader at this venue, you'll have the unique opportunity to build our beverage program from scratch, with the potential to shape future locations across the country.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take charge of our liquor, beer, and wine offerings while delivering an exceptional gaming and hospitality experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities of a Bar Manager

  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of our unique F1 Arcade experience.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, promotions, private events, and race watch parties.
  • Develop and lead the beverage team, fostering a culture of excellence and service innovation.
  • Manage inventory, budgets, and financial performance to maximize profitability.
  • Create and manage bar schedules, optimizing staffing for regular operations and private events.
  • Conduct performance coaching and development sessions to enhance team capabilities and reduce turnover.
  • Uphold company standards in crisis management, cash handling, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality through regular inspections and tastings.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish best practices and operational benchmarks.

 

The ideal Bar Manager will have these key skills:

  • Posses a minimum of 3 years of management experience in high-volume restaurants or entertainment venues
  • Proven track record in bar management including expertise in mixed beverage cocktails
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are essential with a dedication to team development and mentorship
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills and financial acumen is crucial
  • A background in hospitality management education isn't
