About Health And Recovery 88, Inc

We are a franchisee of SWTHZ bringing 10 locations to the Cleveland, Ohio area, with our first 3 studios opening soon in Ohio City, Strongsville, and Avon. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Studio Manager to help drive success in daily operations, team leadership, and membership growth.

Job Summary

The Assistant Studio Manager will play a key role in supporting the Studio Manager with daily operations, membership sales, cost management, and overall studio performance. This role is hands-on, with responsibility for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, client satisfaction, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy, service-focused environment, and has a passion for wellness and leading by example.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operations & Sales Support

  • Assist with execution of day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless and elevated client experience
  • Actively support membership, retail, and intro package sales through education, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service
  • Manage front desk activities, scheduling, and member check-ins
  • Collaborate with Studio Manager on achieving monthly sales goals and cost targets
  • Maintain inventory of studio supplies, towels, retail, and ensure ordering is aligned with budget goals
  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and operational standards across all suites and communal spaces

Team & Culture

  • Serve as a leader on the floor, setting an example in client service and professionalism
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
  • Support scheduling and shift management to ensure full team coverage and cost control
  • Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and teamwork
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to studio staff

Client Experience

  • Deliver best-in-class guest experiences aligned with the SWTHZ brand
  • Handle client concerns or escalations in a thoughtful, solutions-oriented way
  • Support community-building through in-studio engagement, follow-ups, and promoting retention
  • Ensure all guests feel welcomed, safe, and excited to return

Job-Based Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Team Leadership: Ability to coach and influence part-time and hourly staff to deliver excellence
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle priorities during peak hours
  • Detail-Oriented: Notice and resolve cleanliness, supply, and customer service issues without being prompted
  • Sales Acumen: Confidence in discussing membership options and converting prospects into members
  • Reliability: Dependable and professional, with a strong sense of accountability

Minimum Educational Level / Certification

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus

Minimum Work Experience And Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in fitness, wellness, retail, or hospitality industries
  • Experience in leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Sales experience or client-facing role strongly desired

Compensation

  • Base Pay: $500/month
  • Monthly Bonus: Up to $500/month
    • Criteria include: Memberships, Packs, Intro Sessions, Drop-Ins, Plus Ones, Cleanliness, Labor/Operational Costs, and Sales Growth
    • Bonus structure communicated before the start of each month

  • Quarterly Bonus: 0.05% of Studio Sales
    • Based on similar criteria as the monthly bonus
    • Eligibility: Must be employed in the role for the entire quarter and still in the role at the end of the quarter
    • Tiered payouts available if full targets are not met
