Duties

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with educational goals
  • Create a positive classroom culture that promotes student participation and inclusivity
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to support a respectful and structured environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues about student development
  • Adapt lessons to support children with diverse learning needs, including special education support
  • Encourage physical activity and wellness through organized play and movement
  • Stay informed about childhood development and implement best practices in your teaching

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • CDA or School-Age Endorsement preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of classroom management and special education practices
  • Familiarity with child development principles and varied learning styles
  • Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with children
